We provide a bespoke framing service for all types of artwork. Over the years many different items have been framed – from the usual, watercolours, oils, prints and photographs to needleworks both new and old, to the more unusual – shirts, lace, flowers – both dried and sugar, shells, combs, brooches, glasses, car parts! To name but a few.
Framing can be supplied individually or in quantity, from standard to museum quality.
Mounting boards: White core mount boards from Nielsen Bainbridge, Daler Rowney and Arqadia.
Conservation mount boards from Nielsen Bainbridge & Daler Rowney.
Museum Quality from Nielsen Bainbridge.
Single or double mounts, Lines or full Line washes, which are a speciality, hand painted by Trevor using gouache watercolours.
Mouldings: We carry an extensive range of mouldings – over 250 in stock and a further 300 plus to order. You can also choose from our large range of aluminium mouldings supplied by Nielsen.
Glass: Choose from 2mm picture glass, None reflective glass, Clear colour, UV Glass and Perspex
Backingboards: Acid free barrier boards, Artback, Foamback and stand backs for photo frames.
All framing is undertaken on the premises in our large workshops, to ensure quality and service, we are committed to providing the highest level of workmanship. We are happy to discuss all your requirements.
3D items: We can mount 3D objects like medals, football shirts & scarves or clothing – just ask and we’ll let you know how best to approch the project.
